Ancuta Half-Moon Console Table: Marble-Effect Top and Shelf, Black Rod Frame, 100cm
By Furniture1001 min read

The Ancuta is the console for the hall you thought was too narrow. A half-moon top with no front corners, a matching marble-effect shelf underneath, and a slim black frame of grouped rods, all at 100cm wide and 30cm deep. It is the most compact marble-effect console we sell and the only one with a shelf.
What it is
A space-saving half-moon console table with a white marble-effect top and a matching lower shelf. The frame is slim black metal, finished with grouped rod detailing, so each support is a bundle of thin rods rather than one heavy leg. The product page states 100cm wide, 30cm deep and 78cm high.
Who it suits
A narrow hall, an entrance where people pass close, or a landing. The curved front is the practical point: nothing to catch a hip on, and a shape that reads smaller than its width. The shelf is the other point: it takes a basket for the things a hall collects.
It suits a contemporary scheme in white and black, and it takes a single lamp and a small vase without crowding.
Ancuta, Upney or Lilesville
Three marble-effect consoles.
- Ancuta: 100cm, half-moon, black rod frame, with a shelf. The compact one.
- Upney: 120cm, rectangular, gold arched lattice frame. The airy one.
- Lilesville: 118cm, rectangular, black frame with gold accents on a plinth. The grounded one.
Living with it
A damp cloth for the top and shelf; a dry one for the frame.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the Ancuta?
The product page states 100cm wide, 30cm deep and 78cm high. It is the most compact of our marble-effect consoles.
Why half-moon?
A curved front has no corners to catch a hip or a bag in a narrow hall, and it reads as smaller than a rectangle of the same width. It is the shape for the tightest space a console will fit in.
Does it have a shelf?
Yes, a matching marble-effect lower shelf, which the other two marble-effect consoles do not have. It takes a basket or a row of books.
What is the frame?
Slim black metal with grouped rod detailing, several thin rods bundled together at each support rather than a single thick leg. It keeps the frame light and gives it a contemporary line.
Is the top real marble?
No. It is a white marble-effect finish, which gives the look without the weight or the staining, and we say marble-effect rather than marble.
