Beaumont 2-Drawer Console Table: Turned Legs, Brass Ring Pulls, 29cm Deep, Fourteen Reviews
By Furniture1002 min read

The Beaumont is the traditional console in our range and the most reviewed: two drawers on antique-brass ring pulls, a full lower shelf, turned legs, and a 29cm depth that suits a narrow hall. Fourteen buyers, and the review that says the most is the one that noticed the adjustable feet.
What it is
A console table with two smooth-opening drawers, a full-width lower shelf and traditional turned legs. The finish is black with a subtle wood-grain texture, or a deep green or blue. The handles are antique-brass rings. The product page states 101.6cm wide and 29cm deep.
Who it suits
A narrow hall that still needs somewhere for the post, and a house with an old floor. J Thirlaway: "Beautiful hall table, great quality for the price. It even has adjustable feet for floors which aren't level. Super easy to assemble and looks great."
It suits a traditional or a transitional scheme, and the turned legs and brass rings mean it does not look like it came from a flat-pack range.
The three colours
- Black wood-grain is the classic and goes with any hallway.
- Green is a deep teal, and it is the one for brass fittings and warm wood floors.
- Blue is a deep navy for white walls and dark boards.

Living with it
A damp cloth. Wax the drawer runners if they ever stick. Level the feet on day one.

Frequently asked questions
How big is the Beaumont?
The product page states 101.6cm wide and 29cm deep. That is a compact console for a narrower hall, with the storage of a much larger one.
Does it wobble on an uneven floor?
No. A buyer points out it has adjustable feet for floors that are not level, which the product page does not advertise but which matters in an old house.
What are the handles?
Antique-brass ring pulls on two smooth-opening drawers, which are what give the table its traditional character against the modern colours.
Is it hard to assemble?
Fourteen reviews and easy is the word in nearly all of them. One buyer wished all furniture was that easy.
Which colour?
Black with a subtle wood-grain is the classic and the most versatile. Green is a deep teal that suits brass and warm wood. Blue is a deep navy for a hall with white walls and dark floors.
