By Furniture1001 min read
The Sora is the rattan counter stool on a metal frame: a woven backrest, a white PU seat over sponge, and a 66cm seat that puts it at a kitchen island. The frame comes in white or black, and the pair is rated to 250 pounds.
What it is
A set of two counter stools with a rattan backrest and a white upholstered PU seat on a metal frame. The stated figures:
| Height | 95.5cm |
| Width | 42cm |
| Depth | 38.5cm |
| Seat height | 66cm |
| Pair weight | 14.8kg |
| Maximum load | 250lb (about 113kg) |
The product page lists it for kitchens, dining rooms and bars, and as a vanity chair.
Who it suits
A 90cm island or breakfast bar, and a kitchen that gets used hard, because a metal frame shrugs off the knocks that loosen wood over time. At 42cm wide it is one of the narrowest stools we sell, so more fit along a counter.
White or black
White keeps the stool light and suits a pale kitchen. Black gives it an edge and matches black taps and handles. The seat and the rattan back are the same on both.
Living with it
Wipe the seat with a damp cloth; brush the rattan back. Our cane and rattan guide covers looking after a woven back.
